Youth Seminars in November

Everything is going fine in our work and God is using us in abundance to bless people with His word for His glory. Vertical World Solutions is working hard to be blessing for people. This November God not only used us in Arifwala, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan but also in other cities. I was invited in different youth seminars by different Churches because Christmas season is coming and all churches want their youth groups to be more active in works. This is normal as November is month for us to prepare to celebrate the birth of the one true Saviour. VWS was invited in 4 seminars as speakers in different cities. I spoke in Sahiwal(4th), Phool Nagar(5th) and Khanewal(9th) and will be going soon to Lahore for speaking to youth. On 9th November I went to Khanewal to speak with 50 young people, they were of different ages. There were four speakers from different Churches. Topic was “Youth Issues in Pakistan” This is common and everyone knows what youth problems are but no one tells of solutions. I took Nicodemus who is helping hand to us in Sahiwal with VWS; Nicodemus listened to boys and girls in sharing session and shared his experiences with them. It had been very good for him to speak first time in any seminar as helper of youth groups. Nicodemus enjoyed it very much.I was given 1 hour to speak about Youth Issues. I raised a question to know problems of you th in Khanewal “Why youth of all ages is away from God” They answered in different ways and opened many subjects.
Main Issues are written below.
1 Education
2 Drugs addiction and Media (for boys)
3 Media and Domestic Bondages (For Girls)
4 Adopting Other Cultures (Fashions)
5 Influence of Religious Culture
6 Who are their Christ like role models
7 Lack of Good Leadership
8 Lack of Opportunities
9 Social Injustice
10 Lack of Sharing between youth and adults

These are only few main that I shared with you. I touched to leadership, Media and Drugs abuses. I did not teach them directly, I used some examples from The Bible and their surroundings. I gave them chances to write down responsibilities of a young person and I also said them to write difficulties that youth faces during doing their responsibilities. We divided all 50 people into four groups and all four groups wrote different responsibilities and difficulties that they know about. In the end I taught them again about Media and I said them to take help from the Holy Bible and say fervent prayers for this. We need to be in world but not of it..Amen. I am thankful to God because God used VWS to teach these young people. I believe in future we shall be used more for His work in this area.
