New update on all things Pakistan!!

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Romans 11:36 Amen.

 Greetings in Christ Jesus,

We are always thankful to God for His matchless blessings in VWS Pakistan.

Romans 11:36 tells everything that we obtain, possess or gain in our life is for Him and from Him which means we can never say about what we obtained is without God’s help. Without His helping hands we cannot receive any thing in this world. We should not ignore God’s helping hands in our success or progress.
This verse also tells us to not be proud because everything is From God, For God and To God to glorify His name. We should say thanks to glorious God for His blessings rather than being proud after getting success in our lives. We are thankful to God for our lives because He saves us from all kind of deadly plans of Satan and God leads us to right way where we will never lost.
VWS is doing work for His kingdom to be set in Pakistan. We believe His kingdom will come in this world and His will be done through VWS in those people for whom we are praying and working.
Praise Report

Resurrecting Hope Primary School,  Arifwala.
In RHPS we have supplied mats, fan, water cooler and uniforms. In next two days we shall provide books and new bags to children. Building of our school is very small; we have more children than building capacity. 65 Children have to sit outside of room where we have put shadow(shade with awning) for children. When temperature rises in the afternoon children feel hot. We had not pedestal fan that we can use outside of rooms. We are thankful to God and VWS for pedestal fan. Now we have it that makes easy to sit under shadow. We are thankful to God and VWS for Mats, Fan, books, bags and Uniforms that are very important and needed for students. We soon will be sending children on summer holidays for 2months and 15 days. We believe children will enjoy their Bible class in our school during summer vacations.

Resurrecting Hope Sewing School,  Arifwala.
We have trained 50+ women in our sewing school in Arifwala. Now we have planned to shift this school in Sahiwal in Nicodemus’s working area. We have already enrolled 10 girls in Sahiwal to be our students and more are applying they are more than happy for this blessing.

Resurrecting Hope Bible Classes.

We are enjoying our time with children and young people of many different villages where we train them in Bible knowledge. We are telling stories to children and youth also enjoy this with us.

Water of Life
VWS Pakistan has chosen a place with Victor to install new well and water pump soon(mid June). I believe your prayers will be with us.
Sahiwal City-Nicodemus and Victor are still working hard there. They are visiting many many households and have enrolled 10 students for sewing school and more are expected during sewing classes. Nicodemus has started new Bible class with help of some boys in new villages and Victor will be putting in a new well. In summer we are planning to arrange meetings with young people. We are thankful to God because without His helping hands we are not able to do any of these. They are reaching thousands with true Word of God!

 Burwala City –In 377 EB Burewala we have new person attached with us to do God’s work there. We are asking to God to spread us in all over Burewala.

Pakpattan City-VWS Pakistan is trying to find a good person there in Pakpattan who can be of help in doing God’s work there.

Faisalabad City -Sajjan and his wife Shamyla are part of Jesus’s body and helping VWS with reaching out to people.

Praise
We praise God for everything that we have done, it was impossible for us to make changes without His helping hands because what we are doing is for God., from God and through God….Amen.

Colossians 3:17–”And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
  We need your prayers. Please keep praying for VWS and all projects that are being done to accomplish His will in people.

Our Christian School Celebrates It’s First Year!!

 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4

 This verse tells us about saying thanks to God with happiness and praise songs for His greatness. He is always with His people in all their works that they do to glorify His name among people.
Vision for School

Proverb 19:2…
…This is not good to have soul without knowledge.
We said many prayers for a school for poor children of our area and always God said us to wait for good time. God’s word say in Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 that everything has a specific time for it to be done. On 20 April 2010 God answered our prayers in the shape of Resurrecting Hope Primary School in Arifwala. This school is Hope for Hopeless, Light House for Lost, Beam of Light in the Darkness, Rest for Weary, Hand for Fallen, Support for Helpless and more than all this school is Life for Dead Minds. This school means a lot to us. We are always thankful to God for this school. On this 20 April we celebrated Anniversary of Resurrecting Hope Primary school , this celebration was actually a thanksgiving day. We gave our thanks to God and His Son for “Doing the light stuff in our dark part of the world.”
Celebration of First Anniversary
We celebrated first anniversary of RHPS with our people. We arranged a thanksgiving prayer meeting with our people for God. We about 500 (including children) gathered in front of our school building to say thanks to God for successful first year of RHPS. All people were very happy and it was like a birthday celebration everyone thought it is her/him birthday. We taught our people some good lessons through skits. Some old people were called to appreciate students teachers, these elders also encouraged parents to send their children in school for their better future.In the middle of celebration Brother Steve talked with people through cell phone, he passed hello from all people who are attached with VWS. Bro Steve wished to see their children’s children in this school someday We cut Birthday cake to celebrate anniversary, people enjoyed everything very much. After celebration we gave food to all 500 people from VWS for their lovely fellowship with us throughout 2010 and 2011.
Achievements in First Year.

Isaiah 52v12, For the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
God walked before us whatever we wanted to start in His name and He allowed us to achieve what is our vision in Him to achieve for Him. Biggest achievement for us is opening of Resurrecting Hope Primary School as first Christian school in Arifwala.
When we started school we had 120 children with us, in the first month of our schooling we got 170 that was big number of children in small school buildings. We already had children of 1st to 5th standards(grade) coming to us for learning so we had no problems in enrolling these classes. Our first year is very successful, we provided uniforms, shoes, books, bags and everything that a child needs to start school first time.
We also gave religious education in our school that made our children stronger in Jesus Christ. It encouraged them to be supportive Christians and citizen of Pakistan .
This is first time when 27 children passed their primary school exams in Christian colony Arifwala. In first year we sent 27 children in high school from primary school. This is biggest achievement of RHPS. We believe now those 27 children will progress in high school to be better human and workers for Jesus and nation.

This year we have aprox 30 new students till now, we believe numbers of students will increase with the passage of time.

We believe God is with us and walks with us during our work but He goes before us when we plan to do something new to glorify His name…Amen.

We started with 4 teachers but in the end of this year God gave power to VWS to have one more teacher in school. Now with the will of God we are 5 teachers in school… Praise The Lord.
Goal for 2011-2012 or Prayer Points for 2011-2012
1…We are praying for our own building or big building for Resurrecting Hope Primary school. We have large numbers of children in school but building capacity does not allow us to enroll even more students for new classes.

2…We are in need of uniforms, books, and mats for 60 children. (new children plus some returning) $14.98 per child gives them everything!! Click donate above if you feel led to help!!

3…We are praying for Hostel for those children who are in far villages but want to join Resurrecting Hope Primary school.

4…We are praying to have source of traveling for pick and drop services.

 Once again we are thankful to God and VWS for Resurrecting Hope Primary School that is light for those who are in darkness.
We believe with the help of God we shall be “Doing Light Stuff in a Dark World”…Amen

Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday in Sahiwal, Pakistan!!

 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

 Work in Sahiwal is started in 2010 by VWS and now we have big group of people who knows of VWS as God’s blessing for Pakistan. In Sahiwal we have many people who attend VWS’s meetings and bible classes to be blessed with word of God.
To increase our groups in different areas VWS decided to start some big meetings in Sahiwal to have fellowship with more people. On this Easter VWS did a big prayer meeting and also some small prayer meetings with people.
These meetings have been blessing for people as well as for VWS Pakistan. We shared our vision for Sahiwal that is from God that was appreciated and accepted by people. I am going to write short report about Sahiwal.
Victor and Nicodemus both have done good job in Sahiwal.
Palm Sunday: Victor and Nicodemus arranged a Palm Sunday walk in Sahiwal with people. They had more then 200 people in that walk. People had decorated their palm branches with flowers and dates; they gave different shapes to their branches of palms to say welcome to Jesus. This walk had been blessing and testimony for all people in Sahiwal. We gave a message of peace through this walk on the roads through singing songs of peace and love.
Many people were happy to join VWS for this glorious walk in streets of Sahiwal city. Walk was ended with Bible reading and with prayers for peace for the whole world.
After finishing this walk in Sahiwal our team came to Pakpattan where they led new procession of Jesus lovers in that city where Jim and Raymond spoke people.

Our Palm Sunday is a day to give testimony to people that Jesus is prince of peace and I believe we were succeeded to do this.

Out Door Children Class…
Victor and Nicodemus took 30 children in a park and spent some time there with them in playing and teaching them. They taught them story of resurrection of Jesus Christ after death on the cross. They also taught what purpose of His sacrifice for this world was. Children acted out these stories to learn them in a better way. They also said them to keep praying for Resurrecting Hope Primary School in Arifwala. Children found this day as day of learning through acting and games. They learnt that Jesus died for their sins to save them.
Good Friday Big Meeting…
VWS has heart for young people in Sahiwal because youth in this area are distant from God but VWS has started its work in these young people to bring them close to God. We arranged a big prayer meeting and singing program on Good Friday in Sahiwal. We expected about 250 young people to come and join us in this meeting but with the will of God we had more than 600 people attending us for this prayer meeting. Our hearts filled with happiness to see this much people in our meeting…Praise the Lord. I taught them about God’s love through His son Jesus Christ. Who turned sign of curse…into sign of salvation!!

We also had singing competition where many Gospel singers sang to praise God through their voices.
In the end all people were so happy and thankful to God for this night in which they received shower of blessings. We believe this big meeting will help us to have more young people with us in Sahiwal to learn to follow Jesus. We believe God will change their lives through VWS Pakistan…Amen

Easter Morning
Victor and Nicodemus arranged a walk for women in the Easter morning. Matthew 28 chapter tells us about women who went to see Jesus in the dawn time. They saw Angel where Jesus was and they knew that Jesus is raised from the dead and now He is alive. To remember this story we celebrate this morning as women walk to the grave with fragrance and lights in their hands. Victor, Nicodemus and some women led women in this walk, in the end a woman spoke to people and said that He is raised from the dead and wished all a Happy Easter.

Women specially attend this prayer meeting and they sing praise songs during walk in the streets.

In the afternoon they both went to different village to meet people and to share word of God with them.
This is first Easter of VWS in Sahiwal but people of Sahiwal did not let us feel that we are less than one year old in Sahiwal. We felt ourselves as if VWS is working here from a long time.
God has sent us there to be blessing for people and people are accepting us as blessing from God.
This is all as God promised in Hebrew 6:14, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.”   

Please keep praying for more work in Sahiwal, we want to increase our work in Sahiwal with the blessings of God and your prayers.
